Housing Provision is changing. The emergence of branded accommodation products, a new private rented sector and a more competitive housing grant and Section 106 funding regime is encouraging providers to adopt more service based, income generating operating models. Whilst larger providers create capacity to provide new homes from selling housing products many organisations will look to attract private equity investment which in turn will require providers to maximise efficiency, reduce costs and look at new ways of generating income. At Pex we are working with various organisations and developing pilot projects such as a Home of the Future with BT to prove new operational models to improve performance and yield. Larger organisations can choose a Pex CRM and tenancy application to sit alongside existing property and housing management systems. We deliver the numerous benefits associated with a single view for managing the tenant relationship and external views for residents, suppliers and other stakeholders.   Where traditional property and housing management systems struggle to help clients differentiate themselves and access new web capabilities the Pex solution delivers NOW what incumbent providers will deliver over the next 5 years. Tribal have told us ‘the choice of systems available to landlords are from a different era when landlords managed properties where as now the focus is on delivering services to people.’ ** ** Extracted from HOUSEMARK report published by Tribal in May 2009 ‘Current use of systems and technology by Housing Associations’  |
